If you are starting from the center of Monteverde, head north on the main road (Ruta 606). Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach a fork in the road. Keep to the right at the fork and continue straight. After about 750 meters, you will see a sign for the Ecological Sanctuary on your left. The entrance is located just off the road.
