Walking
If you are in the center of Monteverde, start by heading towards the main road (Ruta 606). Walk north until you reach the intersection with Ruta 602. Turn left onto Ruta 602 and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs directing you towards La Fortuna. Keep following the road as it winds through beautiful scenery. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach a bus stop where you can catch a bus to La Fortuna. Be sure to check the bus schedule, as they may not run frequently.

From Monteverde, walk to the main bus station located near the Monteverde Center. Look for the bus that goes to La Fortuna. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in La Fortuna, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Ecoterra Costa Rica. Head south on Avenida 1, then turn left onto Calle 442. Continue straight until you reach the address: 4417-36 Costa Rica, La Fortuna - Catarata Río Fortuna.
