    From the center of Monteverde Cloud Forest, head southwest on Route 606 towards the main road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, look for signs directing you to C. Los Camachos. Turn onto C. Los Camachos and continue for about 500 meters; the Wildlife Refuge Monteverde will be on your right. Make sure to have cash for parking or any entrance fees. Parking is available at the refuge at no additional cost.

    Locate the nearest bus stop in Monteverde that services routes to Santa Elena. Get on a bus heading towards Santa Elena and ask the driver to stop at C. Los Camachos. This should take about 15-20 minutes. From there, walk down C. Los Camachos for about 10 minutes to find the Wildlife Refuge Monteverde on your right. Bus fare is approximately $1.
