If you are driving from the center of Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, head southwest on Route 606. Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers (about 5 minutes). You will pass through the small town of Santa Elena. Look for signs directing you to Valle Escondido Nature Reserve. The reserve is located about 700 meters southwest of Escuela Cerro Plano. You will see an entrance sign on your right. Parking is available on-site.
