Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of La Fortuna. Head south on Route 142, then merge onto Route 1 (Interamericana) towards San José. Continue on Route 1 for about 80 kilometers. Take the exit towards Route 215, following signs for Patarra. Drive approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the address VXCJ+7QQ, Patarra. Look for Fossil Land on your right. Parking is available on-site.

    For public transportation, take a bus from La Fortuna to San José. Buses leave regularly from the main terminal. Once you arrive in San José, transfer to a bus heading to Patarra. These buses can be found at the Terminal de Buses de San Carlos. Once you arrive in Patarra, it’s a short taxi ride (about 10-15 minutes) to Fossil Land.
