    If you're driving from the town of Puerto Jiménez, head southwest on Route 245. After about 32 kilometers, you will reach the intersection with Route 220. Turn left onto Route 220 and continue for approximately 16 kilometers until you reach the town of Pavones. Follow the signs to Playa Pavones, which is located at the end of the road. Make sure to check for road conditions, as some areas may be unpaved.

    From Puerto Jiménez, take a bus heading to Golfito. These buses regularly depart from the main bus station in Puerto Jiménez. The fare is approximately $3.50. After about an hour, get off at the Pavones junction. From the junction, you can catch a local taxi or walk approximately 5 kilometers to reach Playa Pavones. Taxis may cost around $10 to $15 for the short ride.
