Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Puerto Jiménez, take a local bus towards Mogos. Buses depart from the main bus terminal in Puerto Jiménez. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to the waterfall trailhead. From there, follow the signs leading to the waterfalls. Be aware that bus schedules can be irregular, so check the timetable in advance. A one way bus ticket will cost around $2-3.

  • Car

    If driving, start from Puerto Jiménez. Head south on Route 2 until the intersection with Route 245. Turn left onto Route 245 and continue for about 18 kilometers until you reach Mogos. Look for signs indicating the Magical Mogos Waterfalls. Parking is available near the entrance to the hiking trail. Parking cost is free. The total drive takes about 45 minutes.
