From Puerto Jiménez, take the local bus towards La Palma. The bus departs from the main bus terminal, with a fare of approximately 1,000 CRC. Inform the driver you wish to get off near Bolita Rainforest Hostel. After about 30 minutes, ask the driver to stop at the nearest point to the hostel. From there, it's approximately a 1 km walk on a dirt road to reach Bolita Rainforest Hostel.

From Dos Brazos, Bolita Rainforest Hostel is accessible only by foot. The hike is a beautiful, but slightly aggressive, trail through the forest. It takes approximately 20-30 minutes. It's important to bring food and a flashlight. Check-in after 17:00 is not possible.
