If you are in the center of Puerto Viejo, start by heading south on the main road (Calle 213) towards the beach. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road to Playa Cocles. You will see signs indicating the way to the beach. Turn right onto the road leading to Playa Cocles and follow it for approximately 600 meters. You will reach Playa Cocles, a beautiful beach known for its clear waters and vibrant atmosphere.

From central Puerto Viejo, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head south on Calle 213, continuing straight for around 1.5 kilometers. Watch for signs directing you to Playa Cocles as you approach the junction. Turn right at the junction and cycle for about 600 meters until you arrive at Playa Cocles. The ride is scenic and allows you to enjoy the lush surroundings.

If you prefer taking public transport, locate the bus stop near the center of Puerto Viejo. Look for buses heading to Manzanillo, as they will pass by Playa Cocles. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to get off at Playa Cocles. It should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you get off, follow the signs leading to the beach, which is just a short walk away.
