If you are in Puerto Viejo, start at the main street (Calle 213) that runs through the town. Head south towards Playa Cocles, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. As you walk, you will pass by various shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Playa Cocles. After about 25-30 minutes of walking, you will reach the beach area. Look for a path leading to the beach; you will know you are close when you start to hear the waves.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Puerto Viejo. Once you have your bike, head south along the main road (Calle 213) towards Playa Cocles. The ride is about 2 kilometers and should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed. You'll find bike rental shops near the center of Puerto Viejo. As you cycle, enjoy the lush scenery and local wildlife. When you arrive, park your bike in a safe area by the beach.
