Cafe Rico is located on Av. 69 in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. From the center of town, head south on the main road, Av. 73, until you see the soccer field on your left. Turn right onto the road that runs parallel to the main road. Cafe Rico will be on your right-hand side, a short walk from the intersection. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes from most central locations. Tuk-tuks are also readily available for a small fee if you prefer not to walk.

A short taxi ride from the bus terminal or the edge of town to Cafe Rico will typically cost around 700 CRC (approximately $1.40 USD) as a starting price, plus 700 CRC per kilometer.
