If you are in the vicinity of the Central Market (Mercado Central), head towards Av. Central. Walk along Av. Central for about 10 minutes. Plaza de la Cultura will be on your left, just after you pass the National Theater of Costa Rica. Look for the large open area with benches and sculptures.

Locate the nearest bus stop along Av. Central. You can take any bus that heads towards the Catedral area. The fare is around 300 CRC (Costa Rican Colón). After approximately 5-10 minutes, get off at the stop closest to the Catedral. From there, Plaza de la Cultura is a short 2-minute walk down Av. Central.
