Follow the signs to the parking lot. The road is paved until the entrance, then turns into a well-maintained dirt road. Parking is free with admission.

    From San José, take a bus to Liberia from Terminal 7-10; the journey is approximately 4-5 hours. In Liberia, switch to a local bus heading towards Bagaces, which takes about 30 minutes. From Bagaces, take a taxi or walk 3 kilometers to the waterfall. A taxi from Bagaces to the waterfall costs approximately $10-$15.
