Getting There

Car
If you're driving, start by getting onto the D1 highway. From cities like Zagreb or Karlovac, follow signs towards the D1 towards Gospić. Once you reach the town of Gospić, take the exit towards the D50 road, heading towards the village of Krasno. Continue on the D50 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach Krasno. Once in Krasno, follow local signs to Velebit House, which is located at Krasno 92. There is free parking available near the house.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a bus from Zagreb to Gospić. You can find bus schedules at the Zagreb bus station. Once in Gospić, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading towards Krasno. Make sure to check the local bus schedules, as they may vary. The bus ride from Gospić to Krasno takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Krasno, you can walk to Velebit House, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Keep in mind that local bus services may not operate frequently, so it's advisable to plan your trip accordingly.
