It's advisable to arrive early during peak season, as parking can fill up quickly.

For those using public transportation, take a bus or ferry to Hvar Town. If you are coming from Split, take a ferry from Split to Hvar (make sure to check the ferry schedule as it varies). Once in Hvar Town, you can either walk to Pokonji dol Beach, which is about a 20-minute walk from the town center, or take a taxi for a quicker trip. The taxi fare should be around 50-100 HRK depending on the time of day.

If you choose to walk from Hvar Town to Pokonji dol Beach, start at the main square (Trg Sv. Stjepana) and head southeast along the waterfront. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end near the marina. From there, follow the signs leading to Pokonji dol Beach, which will take you along a scenic coastal path. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and offers beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea.

For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Hvar Town. Many rental shops are available. Once you have your bike, follow the same route as walking, but cycling will allow you to reach Pokonji dol Beach faster.
