From Stari Grad ferry terminal, catch a local bus towards Jelsa. Vrboska is along this route. The bus stop in Vrboska is near the waterfront. A one-way ticket from Hvar Town to Vrboska costs around 33 kn. From Hvar town, buses also run to Vrboska. The bus station in Hvar town is a 5-minute walk from where the catamaran from Split arrives.

Taxis are readily available from major arrival points on Hvar Island. A taxi from Stari Grad ferry port to Vrboska costs approximately €28-€35. From Hvar Town to Vrboska expect to pay around €44-€60. Several taxi services operate on the island, including Taxi Scorpio and Taxi Hvar. Be aware that prices may increase during night rides, Sundays, and holidays.
