    Veli Žal Beach is accessible by car via a well-marked asphalt road. From anywhere on Dugi Otok, follow the main roads towards the village of Dragove. Once in Dragove, follow signs for Veli Žal Beach. Parking is available near the beach for a fee. Expect to pay around 30kn for all day parking.

  • Public Transport

    To reach Veli Žal Beach via public transport, take a ferry from Zadar to one of the ports on Dugi Otok (Brbinj, Božava, Zaglav, or Sali). From Brbinj, a bus connects to the western side of the island. From Sali, a bus connects to the eastern side. Check local bus schedules, as services may be limited. From Dragove, it's a short walk to Veli Žal Beach. Ferry tickets from Zadar to Dugi Otok range from €2 - €7.
