Getting There

    If you are starting from the Old Town of Dubrovnik, head towards the Pile Gate (the main entrance to the Old Town). Exit through the Pile Gate and walk straight down the road, passing the Dubrovnik West Harbour on your left. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the entrance to the Fort of St. Lawrence (Lovrijenac). Keep walking past the fort and follow the path that leads you back into the Old Town. Once you are back in the Old Town, navigate to the Stradun (the main street) and follow it until you see the Rector's Palace on your left. Turn left onto Ul. kneza Damjana Jude. The Maritime Museum will be located on your left, just a short walk down the street at Ul. kneza Damjana Jude 12.

    From the main bus station in Dubrovnik, take bus number 1 or 1A that goes towards the Old Town. Get off at the last stop, which is called 'Pile'. From there, follow the walking directions above starting from the Pile Gate. Alternatively, if you are coming from the Lapad area, you can take the same bus number 1 or 1A to 'Pile' and then walk to the Maritime Museum.
