Walking
From Pile Gate, the main entrance to Dubrovnik's Old Town, walk east along Ul. Svetog Dominika. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. Tvrdava Revelin will be visible ahead, just outside the Ploče Gate (eastern gate). No costs are associated with this approach.

Public Transport
Several local buses stop near the Ploče Gate, which is the closest point to Tvrdava Revelin. From the main bus station in Gruž, take bus number 1A or 1B to the Ploče Gate. A single ticket costs €1.73 if purchased at a kiosk or €1.99 if purchased on the bus. From the Ploče Gate, it's a short walk to the fortress.

Taxis can drop you off at the Ploče Gate, just outside the Old Town. Note that taxis cannot enter the Old Town itself. From there, it is a short walk to Tvrdava Revelin. Taxi fares within the city typically start at 30 HRK (4 EUR) with an additional 9 HRK (1.3 EUR) per kilometer. A short ride from another point in Dubrovnik to Ploče Gate would likely cost between 60 HRK and 90 HRK (8-12 EUR).
