The walk takes approximately 30 minutes and offers scenic city views. Alternatively, take the Petar Kružić Stairway from Tito Square, consisting of 561 steps. Note that the stairway is a steep climb. No mandatory access fees.

From the Rijeka Bus Station or city center, take bus line 2 or 8 to Trsat. Get off at the 'Trsat' or 'Trsat Castle' stop. From there, it's a short uphill walk to the castle entrance. A one-way bus ticket costs approximately 2 EUR. Check bus schedules in advance as they may vary.

Limited parking is available near the castle at Partizanski put 9a, so arrive early during peak season. Parking options also available near the Shrine of Our Lady of Trsat. Parking fees vary depending on the location and time. Check signs for specific rates.
