From Hvar Town center (Trg Sv. Stjepana), walk southeast towards the waterfront. Follow the promenade (Riva) for about 10 minutes until you reach the bus station. From there, you can take a local bus to the village of Vrboska, which is the closest stop to Gališnik. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once in Vrboska, walk southeast on D116 road, following signs towards Gališnik. The walk from Vrboska to Gališnik is about 20-30 minutes. Note that this route does not directly reach Gališnik Island, but provides an alternative for exploring the area.

The most direct way to reach Gališnik Island is by boat from Hvar Town. Head to the main harbor in Hvar Town. Several boat services and water taxis offer trips to Gališnik and the Pakleni Islands. Inquire at the harbor for the next available departure and confirm the destination includes Gališnik. A round-trip boat ride typically costs around €15 per person to nearby islands. Water taxis may be more expensive, so negotiate the price beforehand.
