Most of GRAD HVAR is easily accessible on foot, as the central area is a car-free zone. From the Hvar ferry terminal, walk along the Riva (waterfront promenade) towards the main square. Many attractions, restaurants, and shops are located within this central area.

If arriving by ferry to Stari Grad, take the bus to Hvar Town. Buses are timed to coincide with ferry arrivals. A one-way ticket costs approximately 30kn. From the Hvar bus station, it's a short walk to the town center.

Taxis are available at the ferry terminal and bus station. A taxi from Stari Grad to Hvar Town will cost around 250kn. Taxis can also be used to reach accommodations outside the immediate town center.
