Built in 1993 by an owner seeking harmony with nature, the bar has evolved into a beloved institution. The bar's design embraces its natural surroundings. The walls and ceilings are crafted from living plants and bamboo, creating cozy nooks. Tables and benches are simple logs and stones, and the floor is covered in straw. Scattered throughout are playful attractions like rope swings and wooden slides, adding to the bar's whimsical charm. Safari Bar offers cold and hot drinks, sandwiches, grilled cheese, olives, and grilled dishes. It's a perfect spot to relax after swimming in the crystal-clear waters or exploring the park. The bar is open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM, catering to both early birds and those who want to enjoy the sunset. The bar is open from Good Friday to the end of September or the beginning of October. From the bar, visitors can enjoy views of the Porer lighthouse, Fenoliga island, and the Kvarner islands. The surrounding Mediterranean vegetation adds to the sensory experience.

Getting There

Car
From Pula, drive south towards Premantura. Upon entering Premantura, follow signs for Rt Kamenjak. There is an entrance fee for vehicles. Continue straight on the main road inside Kamenjak, following signs for Safari Bar. Parking is available near Mala Kolombarica beach, a short walk from the bar. Entrance fee for cars is EUR 15 during the summer (EUR 10 outside of summer). Motorbikes are EUR 8 during the summer (EUR 5 outside of summer). Pedestrians and cyclists enter for free.

Public Transport
Take bus number 26C, 28, or 28A from Pula's main bus station to the 'ULAZ/RECEPCIJA Autokamp Stupice' bus stop in Premantura. From there, walk to the 'Rupine' Kamenjak gate. Follow the signs to 'Windsurf Station' and 'Školjić'. Safari Bar is located further south. The walk from the bus stop to Safari Bar is approximately 45-60 minutes. A single bus ticket from Pula to Premantura costs approximately EUR 2-3.

Follow the signs for Safari Bar, located on the southernmost tip of the peninsula. The walk from Premantura to Safari Bar is approximately 1.5-2 hours. Entrance to Kamenjak is free for pedestrians.
