Walking
From the center of Makarska, head east towards the waterfront promenade (Riva). Walk along the promenade until you reach the main road (D8). Turn left onto D8 and continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for a bus stop on your right where local buses to Tugare depart. Take bus number 35 or 37, which will take you directly to Tugare. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Tugare, walk along Poljička cesta for about 10 minutes until you reach Eko-etno sela Tugare.

Public Transport
Start at the main bus station in Makarska, which is located just north of the city center. Purchase a ticket for a local bus heading towards Tugare. The bus you need is number 35 or 37. The ride will take around 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Tugare stop, disembark and head along Poljička cesta for about 10 minutes until you see the signs for Eko-etno sela Tugare, which will be on your left.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Makarska. Start your journey by heading towards the main road (D8) and turn left. Follow D8 for approximately 1.5 kilometers, where you will find the bus stop for Tugare. However, it’s advisable to use the bike lane alongside the road to ensure safety. Once you reach Tugare, you can continue cycling along Poljička cesta for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Eko-etno sela Tugare.
