Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Opatija, walk towards the waterfront promenade known as Lungomare. Head southeast along the promenade, enjoying the beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. Continue walking until you reach the village of Volosko, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from Opatija's center. As you approach Volosko, you will see signs directing you towards the beach. Follow the signs to Skradinj ul., where Volosko beach is located.

• Bus

  From the main bus station in Opatija, you can take a local bus towards Volosko. Look for bus line number 32 or 36, which will take you directly to Volosko. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you get off at the Volosko stop, walk down towards the coastline, following the signs for the beach. The beach is just a short walk from the bus stop.

• Bicycle

  For those who wish to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Opatija. Ride along the Lungomare promenade heading southeast until you reach the outskirts of Volosko. The ride is scenic and takes about 15-20 minutes. When you reach Volosko, park your bicycle at designated spots, and walk towards Skradinj ul. to access Volosko beach.
