If you are near the Pula Arena, start by walking southeast on Flavijevska ulica towards Ulica Sergijevaca. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ulica Riva. Turn left onto Ulica Riva and walk until you reach the end of the street. At the end of Ulica Riva, turn right onto Ulica M. K. Gorkog. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Ulica Dante Alighieri. Turn left onto Ulica Dante Alighieri and walk until you see the entrance to the Historical and Maritime Museum of Istria on your right at Gradinski uspon 6.

If you are near the city center and prefer to take a bus, go to the nearest bus stop and take bus line 2 or 3 towards the 'Galižana' direction. Get off at the 'Šijana' stop. From there, walk back towards the main road and head southeast on Ulica M. K. Gorkog. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Ulica Dante Alighieri. Turn left onto Ulica Dante Alighieri and walk until you see the entrance to the Historical and Maritime Museum of Istria on your right at Gradinski uspon 6.
