If you're starting from the city center, head towards the western end of the Riva promenade, near the Diocletian's Palace. Walk straight along the promenade until you reach the intersection with Ulica Kralja Tomislava. Turn left onto Ulica Kralja Tomislava and continue walking until you reach the main road, Ulica Domovinskog rata. Once you reach this road, turn right and continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for signs for Tvrđava Gripe, as you approach the fortress. The fortress is located on Glagoljaška ulica. You can see the fortress in the distance as you get closer.
