Walking
From Ban Jelačić Square, head northeast towards Ilica Street. Walk along Ilica Street until you reach the intersection with Tkalčićeva Street. Turn right onto Tkalčićeva Street and continue walking until you reach the end of the street, where it will merge into Radićeva Street. Follow Radićeva Street, which will take you to the upper town area. Continue uphill until you reach the St. Catherine's Church and then make a left onto Kaptol. From Kaptol, continue straight until you reach St. Mark's Square (Trg Sv. Marka), which is marked by the distinctive colorful roof of St. Mark’s Church.

You can take the tram line 1 or 6 from Ban Jelačić Square (Trg bana Jelačića) towards the Upper Town (Gornji Grad). Get off at the Kaptol tram stop.
