If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Zagreb. Take the D1 road heading north towards Medvednica Mountain. Follow the signs for 'Medvednica' and 'Sljeme'. Once you reach the entrance of Medvednica Nature Park, park your car at one of the designated parking areas near the entrance. From there, you can either walk or use local trails to reach Strossmayer Promenade, which is around a 30-minute hike from the main parking area.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take tram line 14 from the center of Zagreb towards 'Dubrava'. Get off at the 'Maksimir' stop and transfer to bus line 140 that heads to 'Sljeme'. The bus will take you close to the entrance of Medvednica Nature Park. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to walk for about 30 minutes along the marked trails to reach Strossmayer Promenade.

After parking your car at Medvednica Nature Park, look for the main trail leading into the park. The path is well-marked and takes you through beautiful forested areas. Follow the signs for Strossmayer Promenade. Be prepared for a gradual incline, and wear comfortable walking shoes. The trail should take approximately 30 minutes to reach the promenade.
