If you are starting from the main entrance of Maksimir Park, head straight down the main path leading into the park. Continue along this path for about 15 minutes, enjoying the lush greenery and occasional benches along the way. You will pass a few smaller ponds on your right. As you approach the larger pond area, keep an eye out for signs pointing to Prvo jezero. When you reach a fork in the path, take the left path that leads down towards the water. Prvo jezero will be located on your right, just off the path. It is surrounded by beautiful trees and is a great spot for a peaceful break.

Public Transport (Tram)
If you are further away within the city, you can take Tram Line 11 or 12 towards the Maksimir Park stop. From the tram stop, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Prvo jezero. Exit the tram and head towards the main entrance of Maksimir Park. Once inside, follow the same walking instructions provided above to reach Prvo jezero.

Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, you can navigate to Maksimir Park using the designated bike paths. Once you arrive at the park, park your bike at any of the bike racks located near the entrance. From there, use the walking path as described earlier to reach Prvo jezero. Biking to the park is a scenic option, allowing you to enjoy the surroundings before you reach the lake.
