If you are starting from the main entrance of Maksimir Park, head straight along the main path. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes, following the signs towards 'Peto jezero'. You will pass the beautiful trees and smaller lakes along the way. Keep an eye out for the directional signs that will guide you towards Peto jezero. Once you reach a fork in the path, take the left path that leads you directly to the lake.

From any location in Maksimir Park, you can walk to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Maksimir'. Once there, take tram number 11 towards 'Središće' or tram number 12 towards 'Zapadni kolodvor'. Get off at the stop 'Trg bana Jelačića', then transfer to tram number 13 towards 'Žitnjak'. Get off at the stop 'Maksimir Park'. After getting off, follow the path back into the park towards Peto jezero. This public transport option may cost around 10 HRK for a single ticket.

If you have rented a bicycle, you can easily navigate through Maksimir Park. Start from the main entrance and cycle along the designated bike paths. Head towards the northern part of the park where Peto jezero is located. This should take you approximately 10 minutes. Make sure to follow the bike lane signs that point towards Peto jezero.
