Getting There

  • Driving

    From Willemstad, take the Weg naar Bullenbaai road west and follow the signs for Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort. Upon arrival at the resort entrance, inform security that you are visiting the sculpture garden; a valid ID might be requested. Proceed straight ahead until you see signs for the beach, then follow signs for Landhuis Blauw, where the sculpture route begins. Free parking is available near the welcome center.

The Beeldentuin Blue Bay, or Blue Bay Sculpture Garden, is an open-air museum located within the Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort. Established in 2017, the garden aims to promote tourism and art education in Curaçao. It features over 40 sculptures crafted from diverse materials like Tafelberg stone, marble, iron, and recycled materials.The sculptures, created by Curaçaoan and international artists, reflect themes related to Curaçaoan identity, history, and the environment. The Beeldenroute (Sculpture Route) guides visitors through the resort, starting at the welcome center, passing Landhuis Blauw (a historic plantation house), and ending near the Coast restaurant.The garden provides a unique opportunity to experience art in a relaxed, natural setting. The Blue Bay Sculpture Garden Foundation organizes activities such as writing lesson letters in Papiamento and Dutch for secondary education. Registration with a valid ID is required at the entrance of the Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort to visit the sculpture garden.
