Start at the main bus station in Nicosia, known as the 'Intercity Bus Station' located at 4, 28th October Street. Look for buses heading towards Larnaca or Limassol. You will want to take the bus that stops at the village of Lazanias. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Lazanias, disembark at the main stop in the village.

After getting off at Lazanias, head south towards the main road (W5RR+M98). Follow the road signs directing you to the National Forest Park of Machairas. It's about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop to the park entrance. The route is scenic with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
