Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards the center of Prague. Use the D1 highway if coming from the south or the D5 from the west. Once you reach the city center, follow signs for Malá Strana. There is limited street parking available around the museum, and you may need to pay for parking. Be prepared to pay around CZK 40 per hour.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Czech Museum of Music using public transportation, start by finding the nearest metro station. If you are in the city center, take Metro Line A (Green Line) to the 'Malostranská' station. Once you exit the metro, head toward the tram stop 'Malostranská' and take tram line 22. Get off at the 'Karmelitská' stop. The museum is a short walk from the tram stop; simply head down Karmelitská street for about 5 minutes until you reach the museum at Karmelitská 2/4. A single ticket for public transport costs approximately CZK 30 and is valid for 90 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are already in Malá Strana or nearby, you can easily reach the Czech Museum of Music on foot. From the Charles Bridge, walk straight onto Kampa Island and head northwest towards Karmelitská street. The museum is located at Karmelitská 2/4. It is about a 10-minute walk from the bridge. Enjoy the picturesque streets as you walk to your destination.
