If you are starting from the city center, head towards the main square, Náměstí Svobody. From there, take the street called Zelný trh (Vegetable Market) heading southeast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Křenová street, then turn left. Follow Křenová until you reach the tram stop 'Malinovského náměstí'. From there, you can take tram number 1 or 2 towards 'Hlavní nádraží'. Get off at the next stop, 'Šilingrovo náměstí'. Walk straight towards the street called Petrov, which will lead you uphill.
