    From České Budějovice, head to the main bus station, which is located at Nádražní 1759/2. Look for buses heading to Český Krumlov. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Český Krumlov bus station, exit the bus and head down the hill towards the town center. Follow the signs to the castle, which will lead you through the main square and up to the castle entrance.

  • Train

    Go to the Český Krumlov train station, which is located at Nádražní 1. From the main train station in České Budějovice, take a train towards Český Krumlov. The train ride will take around 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Český Krumlov train station, exit and walk towards the town center, following the signs for the castle. It’s a downhill walk and should take about 20 minutes.

  • Walking

    If you're already in the town center of Český Krumlov, you can walk to the State Castle and Chateau. Start at the main square (Náměstí Svornosti) and head towards the river. Cross the bridge over the Vltava River. After crossing, turn right and follow the path leading up the hill towards the castle. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views along the way.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Český Krumlov. Simply request a taxi to Zámek 59, 381 01 Český Krumlov. The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on your starting location.
