Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the town square (náměstí Svornosti), head southeast towards the street called Latrán. Continue straight on Latrán for about 300 meters until you reach the fork at the end. Take the left path leading up the hill. You will see the entrance to the castle in front of you after a short walk up the steps. The address is Zámek 59, and you will notice the impressive architecture of the State Castle and Chateau Český Krumlov.

From the Český Krumlov bus station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road (Husova). Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, passing under the railway bridge, until you reach the junction with Latrán. At the junction, turn right onto Latrán and continue straight for about 300 meters. Follow the instructions above from Latrán to the castle entrance.

If you're coming from the Egon Schiele Art Centrum, head southeast along the riverbank on the path until you reach the footbridge. Cross the bridge and turn right onto Latrán. Walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the fork at the end. Take the left path leading up the hill towards the castle entrance.
