Car

If you are driving from anywhere in North Bohemia, take the D8 highway towards Prague. Follow signs for 'Praha' and merge onto the E55. Once you reach the city, follow the signs for 'Malá Strana' and look for parking near Petřínské sady. Parking in this area may incur costs, typically around 40 CZK per hour. After parking, walk towards the Petřín Hill, where you will find the entrance to the funicular railway.

Public Transport - Train and Funicular

From any location in North Bohemia, take a train to Prague Main Station (Praha Hlavní Nádraží). From there, catch metro line A (green line) towards 'Depo Hostivař' and get off at 'Malostranská' station. From Malostranská, head to the tram stop and catch tram number 12, 20, or 22 towards 'Kampus Hybernská' and get off at 'Újezd' stop. Walk to the funicular railway station, which is a short distance away. The funicular ticket costs around 30 CZK one way.

Public Transport - Bus and Funicular

If you prefer to take a bus, find a bus station in North Bohemia with services to Prague. Once in Prague, use the metro or tram system to reach the 'Újezd' tram stop. From there, walk to the funicular railway station to ascend Petřín Hill. The funicular ride costs about 30 CZK. After enjoying the views from Petrin Tower, you can take the funicular back down to explore more of Prague.
