Public Transport
If you are starting at Ostrava's main train station (Ostrava hlavní nádraží), take tram number 1 or number 12 in the direction of 'Poruba, Hlavní třída'. Get off at the stop 'Karolina'. From Karolina, walk towards the river (approximately 10 minutes). Head straight along the path leading to the riverbank. You will see Náplavka - odpočinkové místo s výhledem located at Sadová 1664/3, an area with benches and a scenic view of the river.

If you are near the city center, start at Masaryk Square (Masarykovo náměstí). Walk towards the direction of the Ostravice River. Head east on 28. října street, which will lead you directly to the riverbank. Once you reach the river, turn right and continue walking along the river until you reach Sadová street. Náplavka will be on your left at Sadová 1664/3.

From the Ostrava ZOO, take bus number 36 towards 'Ostrava, Hlavní nádraží'. Disembark at the 'Ostrava, Karolina' stop. From there, follow the same walking directions as mentioned above to reach Náplavka - odpočinkové místo s výhledem.
