If you are near the city center, take the metro line C (red line) from stations like Muzeum or I.P. Pavlova. Board the train heading towards Háje. After about 5 stops, disembark at the Vyšehrad station. From the station, exit and walk towards the main road (V Pevnosti). Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Vyšehrad Fortress.

You can also take tram number 18 or 24. Board the tram at any tram stop in the city center. If you take tram number 18, board it at the 'Národní třída' stop and travel towards 'Nádraží Hostivař'. Get off at the 'Vyšehrad' stop. From there, walk up the hill for about 5 minutes to reach Vyšehrad Fortress.

If you are staying near the river, you can walk to Vyšehrad. Start from the Vltava River promenade and head south along the riverbank. Follow the river until you reach the Vyšehrad area, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you will see the impressive fortress and park.

For a more active approach, consider renting a bike. There are several bike rental shops in the city center. Rent a bike and cycle along the Vltava River towards Vyšehrad.
