From the Velhartice village center, the castle is a short uphill walk. Follow the signs leading towards 'Hrad Velhartice'. If arriving by train, the nearest station is Nemilkov, about 3.3 km from the castle. From Nemilkov, you can take a local bus towards Velhartice or walk to the castle. The bus ride is short, and the fare is approximately 20 CZK. A taxi from Nemilkov to Velhartice would cost around 150-200 CZK.

If driving, follow road 17113 to Velhartice. Parking is available approximately 300 meters from the castle. Parking is free. From the parking area, it's a short walk to the castle entrance.
