Walking
From the Velhartice village center, the castle is a short uphill walk. Follow the signs leading towards 'Hrad Velhartice'. The walk takes approximately 10-15 minutes, passing through the village and offering views of the castle. Parking is available closer to the castle, approximately 300 meters away.
Public Transport
If arriving by train, the nearest station is Nemilkov, about 3.3 km from the castle. From Nemilkov, you can take a local bus towards Velhartice or walk to the castle. The bus ride is short, and the fare is approximately 20 CZK. A taxi from Nemilkov to Velhartice would cost around 150-200 CZK.
Driving
If driving, follow road 17113 to Velhartice. Parking is available approximately 300 meters from the castle. Parking is free. From the parking area, it's a short walk to the castle entrance.
