The building is a protected landmark since 1958, and in 2007, the municipality of Svratouch acquired the property. In 2016, Pavel Šiller, a local collector of historical motorcycles, proposed the idea of establishing a museum within the building, leading to its grand opening on July 9, 2016. Inside, you'll discover a diverse array of motorcycles from various countries, including Germany, the United States, Denmark, England, and France, alongside notable Czech models. The collection features pre-war machines from brands like Ariel, Douglas, Nimbus, and BMW, as well as Czech gems like Praga and Jawa. Each motorcycle has been carefully restored to its original condition and remains functional, showcasing the craftsmanship and innovation of early motorcycle manufacturing.
