    From Cape Henlopen State Park, head northwest on Cape Henlopen Drive. Continue on this road as it becomes Coastal Highway (US-1). Take the exit toward DE-1 N/Smyrna. Merge onto DE-1 N and continue for about 15 miles. Take the exit for Smyrna/DE-6. Turn left onto DE-6 W and continue for about 3 miles. Turn right onto Whitehall Neck Road. Follow this road for about 1.5 miles until you reach Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, located at 2591 Whitehall Neck Road, Smyrna, DE 19977.

    From Cape Henlopen State Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the nearest public transportation hub, which is in Rehoboth Beach. From there, take a DART First State bus (Route 201) heading north towards Wilmington. Get off at the Smyrna Park and Ride. From the Park and Ride, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, located at 2591 Whitehall Neck Road, Smyrna, DE 19977. Please note that bus fares will apply, and you may need to check the DART First State schedule for the most accurate times.
