Walking
From downtown Lewes, head east on Savannah Road. Cross the canal bridge, taking care as you share the road with cars, cyclists, and pedestrians. Continue on Savannah Road until you reach the end, where you'll find Lewes Public Beach. Cost: Free
Public Transport
Take the DART Beach Bus 204 Yellow Line to the Ferry Terminal. From there, Lewes Public Beach is a short walk away. The bus operates every 30 minutes. Cost: $2 per trip, $4 for a daily pass.
Driving
From Route 1, follow signs for Lewes. Once in Lewes, follow Savannah Road east towards the beach. Be aware that parking at the beach is metered and can be limited, especially during peak season. Consider free parking options further from the beach. Cost: Metered parking at the beach is $2.50 per hour. Free parking is available at the Lot off Schley Ave. (Franklin Ave. & Schley Ave.) and the Lot at Roosevelt Inlet (end of Cedar Ave at Inlet).
