  • Walking

    From downtown Lewes, head east on Savannah Road. Cross the canal bridge, taking care as you share the road with cars, cyclists, and pedestrians. Continue on Savannah Road until you reach the end, where you'll find Lewes Public Beach. Cost: Free

    Take the DART Beach Bus 204 Yellow Line to the Ferry Terminal. From there, Lewes Public Beach is a short walk away. The bus operates every 30 minutes. Cost: $2 per trip, $4 for a daily pass.

    From Route 1, follow signs for Lewes. Once in Lewes, follow Savannah Road east towards the beach. Be aware that parking at the beach is metered and can be limited, especially during peak season.
