    From Lums Pond State Park, head south on Lums Pond Road. Continue onto Route 896 South and merge onto I-95 North. Take exit 7 for US-202 North/DE-141 North towards Wilmington. Continue on US-202 North for approximately 8 miles, then take the exit for Kennett Pike/DE-52. Turn left onto Kennett Pike and the Delaware Museum of Nature & Science will be on your right at 4840 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, DE 19807. There is free parking available on-site.

    To reach the Delaware Museum of Nature & Science via public transportation, you will first need to get to the nearest bus stop. From Lums Pond State Park, walk to the nearest bus stop on Route 896. Take the DART First State bus Route 40 towards Wilmington. Ride until you reach the Wilmington Transit Center. From there, transfer to bus Route 13 towards Hockessin. Get off at the stop for Kennett Pike. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop, located at 4840 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, DE 19807.
