Getting There

Walking
From the center of Milford, head north on Broad Street toward E Catherine Street. Turn right onto E Catherine Street, and then continue until you reach the intersection with Route 6. Cross Route 6 carefully to reach the sidewalk on the other side. Continue walking on the north side of Route 6 for about 1.5 miles, passing by local shops and eateries. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will approach a sign for Grey Towers National Historic Site. Turn left onto Grey Towers Drive, where you will find the entrance to the site on your right.

Bicycle
Starting from the downtown Milford area, head north on Broad Street and then turn right onto E Catherine Street. Proceed to Route 6 and cross over to the north side of the road. Follow Route 6 for approximately 1.5 miles, keeping a steady pace. There are bike lanes available, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you see the signs for Grey Towers National Historic Site, take a left onto Grey Towers Drive. The site will be on your right after a short ride.

Currently, there is no direct public transportation available from Milford to Grey Towers National Historic Site. However, you can take a bus from Milford to the nearby town of Matamoras. From the bus stop in Matamoras, it's about a 2-mile walk to Grey Towers. Head west on Route 6, and then turn onto Grey Towers Drive to reach your destination.
