    To reach Fort Delaware, you must take a ferry from the Delaware City Ferry Terminal, located at 45 Clinton Street, Delaware City, DE 19706. Purchase tickets at the ticket office or online in advance. The ferry ride to Pea Patch Island is approximately a half-mile. Typical costs for the final approach: * Ferry Tickets: Adults (13+) $15, Children (2-12) $8, Seniors (62+) and Military $14. Parking in Delaware City is subject to local fees.

    From the Delaware City Ferry Terminal, the ticket office and ferry dock are within easy walking distance. Once you arrive on Pea Patch Island via ferry, a tram is available to transport visitors from the island dock to the entrance of the fort. The walk from the ferry to the tram is approximately 100 yards.
