The Newark History Museum is located a short walk from the University of Delaware campus. From the center of campus, walk south on College Avenue. After crossing the bridge, turn right onto the small road leading to the museum, which is situated next to the Newark Train Station. Admission is free.

The Newark History Museum is accessible via train to the Newark Regional Transportation Center. From the station, it's approximately a 10-15 minute walk south on College Avenue. The museum is located next to the active train tracks, in the old Pennsylvania Railroad Station. SEPTA and Amtrak both service the Newark Regional Transportation Center. Train fares vary.

The Newark History Museum is located at 429 S College Ave, Newark, DE. From I-95, take exit 1B for DE-896 N toward Newark. Continue onto S College Ave. The museum will be on your right, just past the train tracks. Free parking is available beneath the South College Avenue railroad bridge, on the north side of the tracks.
