From any point in Cordillera Central, head towards the town of Jarabacoa. The most common route is to take the main highway, Carretera Duarte (Route 1), heading east. Stay on this road until you reach the junction towards Jarabacoa. Follow the signs for Jarabacoa, which will lead you onto Route 33. Continue on Route 33 for about 30 minutes until you arrive in Jarabacoa. Once in Jarabacoa, follow the local signs towards El Mogote, which is approximately 15 km away. The road can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus or a 'carro público' (a shared taxi) from Santo Domingo to Jarabacoa. Buses leave frequently from the Caribe Tours terminal. The fare is around 200 DOP (Dominican Pesos) and the trip takes about 2.5 hours. Once in Jarabacoa, you can hire a local taxi or take a 'motoconcho' (motorcycle taxi) to reach El Mogote. Expect to pay around 300-500 DOP for the ride, depending on your negotiation skills and the distance.
