Look for signs directing you to 'Los Charcos de Nizao'. The exact location is at FMVR+42W, Carr. Presa Aguacate. Make sure to have GPS or a map handy as the last kilometers may involve some smaller roads.

To reach Los Charcos de Nizao via public transportation, start from Santo Domingo and take a bus from the Caribe Tours terminal to San Cristóbal. The bus ride typically costs around 150-200 DOP (Dominican Pesos) and takes about an hour. Once in San Cristóbal, transfer to a local guagua (minibus) heading towards Los Cacaos. The fare for the guagua is usually around 50 DOP. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off near Carr. Presa Aguacate. From there, you may need to walk for about 15 minutes to reach Los Charcos de Nizao.
