Car
If you're driving to Cascada Limón, start from the town center of Los Haitises. Head east on Calle Principal towards the main road. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction at the entrance of the national park. Follow the signs for 'Cascada Limón' which will lead you onto a dirt road. Drive slowly as the road can be bumpy. After approximately 5 kilometers on this dirt road, you will reach a small parking area at the trailhead. From there, it’s a short hike to the waterfall.
Public Transportation
To reach Cascada Limón using public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Los Haitises. Look for buses heading towards Sabana de la Mar. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the entrance to Los Haitises National Park. Once you arrive, you may need to hire a local guide or take a motorcycle taxi to the trailhead. The trail to the waterfall is well-marked, and it's about a 30-minute hike from the parking area.
